The camp features three "rustic" cabins and three modern cabins that have been built in the past four years. In addition to the cabins the camps has a retreat center for use during the winter and a lodge that is used as an activity hall and eating area for campers during the Summer and a meeting/banquet hall during the winter months. The camp features a waterfront beach on a manmade lake, a chapel, a campfire for Summer time camper meetings, and a pavilion for outdoor gatherings. The First Presbyterian Church of Bedford has been sending campers to the camp every summmer for many years. In addition the church has held and participated in many events at Camp Pyoca in the past years. Through a fund made available by a local congregattion member, the church has been able to help send many kids to a weeklong camp of their choosing, as Camp Pyoca holds several diffferent camps each Summer. Camp Pyoca has been a recipient of our Global Mission funds and the summer camp of choice for our children for decades. For 2003, our Camp Pyoca mission donation was earmarked to pay for the cost of counselor training, weekend retreats, and camps for our older youth.
