  PRESBYTERIAN THEOLOGICAL FUND

As the costs of seminary training has rise dramatically, seminary graduates are forced to look for larger churches that can afford to give them enough income to support their family and to pay for their education. That has put a minister of word and sacrament beyond the financial ability of small congregations to call him or her to their pulpit. As a result, small congregations must exist without an installed pastor.

To combat this, the Presbyterian Church (USA) has set up the Presbyterian Theological Fund to support seminaries so that they will be able to reduce their tuition fees. This makes the seminary education affordable to more people and, it turn, graduates are able to accept calls to smaller churches.

Through budgeted money and contributions we are able to support this fund, thus allowing other churches the opportunity of an installed minister.

  UNITED MISSION SUPPORT

We provide support to the Presbyterian Church (USA) to be distributed to mission programs around the world. The program provides for a diverse list of missions including, but not limited to, the following:

Programs that provide assistance to Native Americans in the south west
Children's homes and homes for older Americans
Medical care for people in other countries
The training of lay leadership for small churches

These are only a sampling of what this program covers. The Presbyterian church is focused on bringing quality mission care to people all over the world.
